 Vickie Perry

The live-in girlfriend of a man found dead in his Deaderick Road house on Saturday has been charged with his murder.  Fifty year old Vickie Perry has been charged with second degree murder in the death of 77 year old Roe Tolliver.  She is being held on a $250,000 bond in the Knox County Jail.

An autopsy conducted on Monday revealed that Tolliver died from multiple stab wounds and blunt trauma.  Knox County Sheriff’s Detectives located Perry to Straw Plains and arrested her on theft charges after they found articles missing from Tolliver’s house in her possession.  She was charged with his murder after the autopsy.   She told detectives that she and Tolliver had argued on January 24th.

Tolliver’s nephew, who lived next door, became suspicious when he had not seen his uncle for two weeks.  He broke into a side window and found the victim.
