KCSO and FBI Search for Bank Robber PDF Print E-mail

The Knox County Sheriff's Office and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed the Suntrust Bank in the Kroger at 9161 Middlebrook Pike around 11:35 this morning and got away with a bag of money.  The suspect gave the teller a note, and then took it back.  He did not show a weapon.  He was last seen  heading west on Lovell Road toward Hardin Valley.
 
He is described as white male, 5'10'', 180 pounds, and wearing a ball cap with the emblem covered in black electrical or duct tape.  He also had the tape on his fingers.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI or the Knox County Sheriff's Office at 215-2243.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office reports a rash of thefts of heavy machinery in West Knox County in the Sherlake area. Businesses have reported a dump truck, car haulers, and trailers missing. One of the business owners at 205 Sherlake Lane has video of an unknown man stealing a black Ridgeline Trailer valued around $3,500 on November 24, 2007. If anyone has any information regarding this theft or others, please call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 215-2243.
