Internal Affairs PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 25 March 2008

The Knox County Sheriff's Office takes its responsibility to police ourselves very seriously.  The agency includes an Internal Affairs Division that acts as a liaison between the community and the employees of this department. The Division serves to monitor and ensure compliance with all departmental policies and procedures, and to see that employees are treated with equity, fairness and consistency in disciplinary matters.

The Internal Affairs Division seeks an expedient and courteous response to concerns, inquiries or complaints against an employee of this agency from a member of the community.  The investigators in the IAD strive to conduct efficient, effective and unbiased investigations into allegations or complaints.  The Division also strives for improved community awareness and access to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
