On June 1, 1987, an unidentified white female was killed in what was believed to be an attempted robbery. The unidentified female suffered a single gunshot wound to the face with a 12 gauge shotgun.

The victim was picked up by her accomplices at a rest area in the vicinity of Bulls Gap TN, prior to the incident in which she was killed.

The victim was wearing an aqua colored Miami Dolphins football jersey and light blue pants. The victim also wore a silver linked bracelet on her right wrist.
