Fifty-seven year old Dennis Turner stabbed his estranged wife, Vickie Turner, 47,  this morning at 6:12 am at her home at 1516 Weeping Willow.  He stabbed her in the shoulder and she had defensive wounds on her hands.  She was transported to UT Hospital and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.  The woman had an order of protection against her husband, but had let him spend the night in another room.  She awoke to Turner stabbing her.  He is being charged with attempted murder, with a bond set at $250,000.
