Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Family Crisis Unit have been investigating a man suspected of child abuse since March.  Today a Knox County grand jury handed down a 43 count indictment against 31 year old Jayson Bailey of 8401 Cascade Lane, Knoxville.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol conducted a joint sobriety check point on July 4th.  They set up in the 8700 block of Asheville Highway from 11:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.  Eleven citations were issued for equipment and registration violation
