A man wearing a ski mask got away with money from the cash register at Gordon’s Drugs Wednesday afternoon. He went into the Oak Ridge Highway store at 3:43 wearing a black ski mask and demanded OxyContin from the owner, Jerry Gordon. The suspect claimed to have a gun, but didn’t show one. As Gordon stalled, the suspect grew frustrated and grabbed $200 from the cash register and ran out. Gordon chased him to Beaver Ridge where he saw him take off the ski mask and leave in an older model white Nissan.
The suspect is a white male, around 6 feet tall, thin build. He has brown hair cut in a crew cut. He was wearing jeans, a black tee shirt, and tennis shoes that were black and white.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 215-2243.
