Man Arrested for Bank Robbery PDF Print E-mail

stansberrykevin_50340_07-23-1968_front.jpgIn a joint investigation with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force,  Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man this morning for robbing a Halls bank on Tuesday.  Kevin Stansberry was charged with aggravated robbery.  He is accused of robbing the Regions Bank at 7005 Maynardville Highway Tuesday morning.  Detectives arrested him without incident at a motel on Magnolia Avenue.

 

He is being held in the Knox County Jail on a $50,000 bond.  He has a previous criminal history involving theft, stolen credit card, and violation of probation.   The investigation into the robbery is a joint effort between the KCSO and the FBI.
