Authorities Search for Armed Robbery Suspect PDF Print E-mail

quintonbryan_40389_02-04-1978_front.jpg The Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Knoxville Police Department are working together to solve a string of armed robberies in the city and county and are asking for help in finding the suspect.  If anyone knows the whereabouts of 31 year old Bryan Quinton, please call 911 or KPD at 215-7212 or KCSO at 215-2243.  He is considered armed and dangerous.  He is described as a white male, 5’9”, 165 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair.

Quinton is suspected of robbing the Weigel’s on Emory Road at gunpoint Saturday.  A few hours later detectives say he robbed a man in an apartment complex parking lot on Peter’s Road and then on Monday morning hit Scott’s Market on Maynardville Highway.  He is also suspected of robbing the Pilot on Merchant’s Road Monday and the Exxon on Middlebrook Pike Sunday night.  Quinton is also wanted for questioning about armed robberies in several surrounding counties. 

Quinton has a lengthy criminal history which includes public intoxication, assault, resisting arrest, failures to appear, simple possession, driving without a license, criminal impersonation, and theft.
