Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested PDF Print E-mail

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office along with members of the FBI Safe Streets Unit took into custody a man wanted for several armed robberies in the county and city.  Thirty-one  year old Bryan Quinton was arrested without incident at his mother’s house at 3219 Avondale in Knoxville on Wednesday night, shortly before 7:30 pm.  He is charged with aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection with an armed robbery on Monday morning at Scott’s Market on Maynardville Highway.  Quinton’s bond is set at $160,000.  The FBI has joined the investigation and federal charges are now possible. Quinton has a lengthy criminal history which includes public intoxication, assault, resisting arrest, failures to appear, simple possession, driving without a license, criminal impersonation, and theft.
