Tip Leads to Arrest PDF Print E-mail

A man suspected of robbing the Corner Market on Rutledge Pike Thursday morning is in custody.  A tip led Knox County Sheriff's Office Detectives to 24 year old Dustin Watson.  He was arrested without incident around 6:00 p.m. at his house on Smith School Road.  He will be charged with aggravated assault.

 

He is accused of using a wooden knife to threaten a employee at the store and demand money from the cash register.  He escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.  Watson has a criminal record of traffic violations.
