A 20 year old man was shot early Thursday morning at his residence at 8604 Ball Camp Pike.  Kenny O’Ferrell said that he heard someone knock on his door around 1:40 a.m. and when he opened the door was shot once.  O’Ferrell called a friend who took him to Parkwest Hospital.  Parkwest then notified KCSO about the shooting.  O’Ferrell was flown to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga for treatment of the gunshot wound. The bullet is reportedly lodged in his back.

 

At this time, there is no description of the suspect or what kind of weapon was used.
