A man and woman with shirts pulled over their heads and faces beat up a clerk at a West Knox County convenience store before getting away with a handful of lottery tickets.  The victim was taken to Parkwest Hospital with cuts on her head.  The robbery occurred at 4:28 Friday morning at the Breadbox located at 10636 Hardin Valley Road.

 

The suspects are described as white, the male short, and the woman with sandy blonde hair in a ponytail and both were wearing dark clothing.  The man had a handgun and the woman brass knuckles.  Both beat the female clerk with the weapons, then fled on foot after grabbing the tickets.
