Arrington

 Honeycutt

Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office say the arrests of two people on Monday may result in solving at least 60 home burglaries in Knoxville, Knox County, Union County, and Lenoir City since January.  Thirty year old Ryan Honeycutt and his 29 year old girlfriend Jennifer Arrington were taken into custody Monday morning after a tip led detectives to their house at 3905 Valley View Drive.  There, they found thousands of dollars worth of items taken in burglaries and a stolen driver’s license which Honeycutt used to pawn thousands of dollars of more stolen goods. Honeycutt has been charged with two counts of theft and two counts of aggravated burglary.  He has a brief criminal history consisting of a theft charge and driving while privilege suspended.  Arrington has been charged with three counts of theft, violation of probation, and failure to obey court orders.  She has a lengthy record consisting of theft, multiple failures to appear, domestic assault, and simple possession. Most of the items found in Honeycutt’s house was jewelry, cameras, and silver serving sets that he wasn’t able to pawn or take to a gold shop.  He is suspected of using the stolen I.D. at least 108 times at pawn shops.  Detectives are now going over pawn shop records to see how much property was pawned.  Detectives also say that the pair scouted out houses where the garage doors were partially up and Arrington would slide under to make entry into the residence.
