The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has released a composite drawing of a person of interest wanted for questioning in the homicide of 52 year old Bill Graves, Sr.  He was shot in his Washington Pike home in Corryton last week and later died at U.T. Medical Center.  He and his wife were in their living room when two men forced their way into the house and held the couple at gunpoint.  Graves and one of the intruders exchanged gunfire and Graves was shot in the leg.  The suspects got away with a safe, which was found opened and empty a short distance from the house.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 215-2243.  Callers can remain anonymous.
