Worship Center Crime Prevention Seminars Session IV - Protecting Our Faith Community

The Tennessee Private Protection Services Title 62. This session will provide information on becoming a “Proprietary Security Organization” and State certification training for those designated to fulfill the role of security or protection for your church.

Saturday, January 16, 2010 8 A.M. – 5 P.M.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Sometimes verbal de-escalation is ineffective in resolving a crisis. This session is primarily for persons who have been designated by your worship center administrators to be authorized to use less-lethal options to help contain a situation until the police arrive. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office DOES NOT recommend any use of lethal force in a crisis situation.
