Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff's Office, working on a tip that convicted sex offender Larry Alan Angvick was living in Knoxville and had failed to register with the TBI Sex Offender Registry, arrested him without incident at 4:30 pm Thursday afternoon.

Angvick had been convicted in Oregon of  2 counts of Sodomy in 1988.  He served prison time, and upon release failed to register as a sex offender in Oregon.  Angvick has outstanding warrants for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in Oregon, which is a felony.

A mugshot is available and will be emailed upon request.  For more information, please call Ashley Haynes at 215-3173.
