Man Charged with Child Pornography PDF Print E-mail

roysterdouglas_83488_12-04-1967_front.jpgAn investigation by Knox County Sheriff’s Office Detectives in the Family Justice Center led to the arrest of a Knoxville man Monday night wanted for possessing child pornography.  Forty-two year old Douglas Royster of 3324 Joseph Gates Lane was taken into custody without incident.  A search warrant served at Royster’s house turned up a computer which contained thousands of images of child pornography.  He is being held in the Knox County Jail on a one million dollar bond charged with sexual exploitation of a minor (more than 100 images/materials).  Royster has a criminal history involving assault.
