comptonalfred_68409_08-02-1963_front.jpgThe Knox County Sheriff’s Office is now releasing the first suspect’s name and charge information in connection with the officer involved shooting in Farragut yesterday.  After being treated and released from UT Hospital, 46 year old Alfred Compton was transported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Detention Facility.  He has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder, Evading Arrest, Driving on a Suspended License, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident, for a combined bond of $215,000.  The KCSO continues to look for the second suspect, and if anyone has any information please call 215-2432.
