Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff's Office tracked down a second suspect involved in a deputy related shooting at a Farragut Kroger on November 18, 2009.  Twenty-two year old Andrew John Compton was taken into custody Thursday afternoon in Anderson County without incident.  He is charged with theft and felony evading arrest.  He and his father were suspected of shoplifting a buggy of items from the store and were confronted in the parking lot by off duty deputy Grayson Fritts who was working security at the store.  The father, Alfred Compton, tried to run over the deputy and also hit two cars in the parking lot.  The deputy fired two rounds at the suspects, hiting Alfred in the neck and shoulder.  He was found at a hospital in Jefferson County that night and transported to U.T. Hospital where he was treated and released into KCSO custody.  Andrew Compton is being held in the Knox County Detention Facility under a $12,500 bond.
