 Sarah Julian

Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office have charged a 21 year old woman with aggravated child abuse.   Sarah Julian is accused of putting her 14 month old daughter into a bathtub of scalding water Sunday night.   The mother took the child to Children’s Hospital where she was treated for severe burns and was later flown to a burn unit in Augusta, Georgia Sunday night.  The child suffered burns from the waist down.

Julian is in the Knox County Jail under a two hundred thousand dollar bond.  Because of this incident, DCS is in the process of removing another daughter from the home.  Julian lives at 7804 Stanley Road, lot 49 just off Clinton Highway in Powell.  The incident was reported to KCSO Sunday at 7:15 p.m.
