KCSO Emergency Snow Plan PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 29 January 2010
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office will implement its Emergency Snow Plan as the weather dictates.  That plan calls for deploying four-wheel vehicles with two officers assigned to each. Officers will only be answering emergency calls. Drivers who are in non-emergency wrecks are asked to exchange information and report the incident as weather related to their insurance company. KCSO will have a Patrol Supervisor in the Emergency Operations Center to help sort out emergency from non-emergency calls. The Sheriff’s Office advises that if you don’t have to be out, please stay indoors and off the roads.
