The Knox County Sheriff's Office reported no traffic fatalities over the long holiday weekend which started on Wednesday at 6 p.m. and ended Monday morning at 8 a.m. Officers worked 51 traffic accidents without injury with 2 of those involving alcohol and 17 accidents with injury.  They issued 34 citations for various traffic violations and arrested two people for DUI.  Officers also made 24 other arrests and assisted 81 motorists.
