The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an elderly man that wandered away from his home today in West Knox County.  Seventy-five year old Jerome Lankford, of 9101 Thayer Circle, Knoxville, was noticed missing around noon today by his daughter, Tanya Stigall.  She called into 911 at 2:15 pm, and advised KCSO Officers that responded to the scene that her father did suffer from the early stages of Alzheimer’s.  Airwatch was dispatched to search for Mr. Lankford, as well as the Knoxville/Knox County Emergency Rescue Squad.  He is a black male, 5’7” tall, approximately 130 pounds, and he does wear glasses.  If you see him, please call 911 or the KCSO Teleserve Division at 215-2432.
