The Knox County Sheriff’s Office with the help of the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen van which is believed to have been involved in at least three Knox County burglaries. Anderson County officers spotted the van on I-75 South Thursday morning and tried to stop it.

The driver refused to pull over and was stopped at Central Avenue Pike at Heiskell.  The driver fled, but the passenger was taken into custody.  He is identified as 29 year old Nathan McCrawley.  Charges are pending.

 The van was stolen on February 16th from Downtown West.
