You can obtain a copy of an Incident Report or a Traffic Accident Report at any of our three offices.  Copies can be provided for incidents occuring in Knox County ONLY.

To obtain a copy of a report:

1. Appear in person at one of our three offices (City/County Building, North Precinct, West Precinct) between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
2. Bring with you a photo ID and payment of $10.00 (cash or check).  You must provide the exact amount, as we are unable to provide change.
3. Please allow 3 working days for our staff to produce the copy of the report.

Bring the case number with you. If you do not know the case number, provide as much specific information as you can: name(s) associated with case, date/time of occurrence, location of occurrence, nature of case (e.g., burglary, vandalism). Please also provide your day time phone number where you can be reached if there are any questions regarding your request.
