Convenience Store Robbery

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who robbed an East Knox County convenience store early Tuesday morning.  The clerk at the Exxon Quick Shop at 7608 Rutledge Pike said a white male entered the store around 1:30 wielding a large butcher knife.  The suspect demanded money from the cash register and cigarettes.  The clerk complied and the man fled the store on foot.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described as 5’6” to 5’8”, 24-30 years old, and around 135 pounds.  He was wearing all dark clothing, a hooded jacket, camouflage hat and a blue cloth covering his face and blue surgical gloves.
