KCSO Arrests Two South Carolina Homicide Suspects

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested two homicide suspects wanted out of South Carolina this afternoon. Officers with KCSO’s Major Crimes, Special Investigations, and Narcotics Units took 39-year-old Ricky Lamont Williams and 24-year-old Teresa Kaytlin Luna into custody without incident around 4:00 p.m. at a residence in the 3300 block of East Governor John Sevier Highway.

Williams was wanted in connection to the July 27th homicide of 31-year-old George L. Grimes in Barnwell, South Carolina, and Luna for homicide accessory after fact by the Barnwell County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. Williams was considered armed and dangerous by South Carolina law enforcement officials. Both will be held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility as they await extradition to South Carolina.
