New Details in Search for Missing Man

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an 82 year old man who was reported missing Monday afternoon.  Marvin Lenhart was last seen at his house at 2304 Winterwood Lane in Knoxville by is daughter on Monday.  KCSO has been searching with K-9s, the Tracking Team, and a helicopter.  Detectives are following up on tips and leads and have alerted area law enforcement agencies to also be on the look out, especially Sevier County where Mr. Lenhart used to live.  Mr. Lenhart had hip surgery recently and is able to walk and according to his daughter has a distinctive gait.  He had a walker and wheelchair and both were left behind.

He is described as a white male, 5'9, 150 pounds, thin to medium build and was last seen wearing khaki pants, a black sports coat, a gray Old Navy hat with white lettering, and blue and white Nike shoes.  He also has a tattoo on his left upper arm that says Marvin Lenhart.
