KCSO Arrests Two Armed Robbery Suspects

Tuesday, 15 November 2011

The Knox County Sheriff's Office arrested two women for robbing the Exxon Quick Stop Tuesday afternoon at 7608 Rutledge Pike at 2:43.  Twenty-four year old Holly Willis is accused of brandishing a handgun inside the store and demanding money from the register.  The clerk complied and she ran out of the store and fled in a car.  Twenty-four year old Sarah Statum had driven Willis to the store, but left as Willis fled the scene.  A KCSO patrol officer took Statum into custody just minutes after the robbery.

Both women are from Knoxville and have previous theft charges.  Mug shots will be posted when available.
