KCSO Arrests CVS Robbery Suspects

Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Monday night, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery at the CVS at 417 East Emory Road. 45 year old Kenneth Tyree entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter.  Once at the counter, he lifted his shirt to display a handgun in his waist band, and handed a note to the pharmacy demanding pain medication.  After receiving the medication, Tyree fled on foot. Shortly after the robbery, officers stopped the suspect vehicle at 9730 Norris Freeway. A weapon and the stolen medication were found in the vehicle.  Kenneth Tyree was transported back to CVS where witnesses identified him as the robbery suspect.  After further investigation, suspect Kenneth Tyree, as well as two other suspects found inside the vehicle, 28 year old Gregory Graves and 26 year old Cody Davis, confessed to their planning of and involvement in the robbery.  All three suspects were arrested. Tyree was charged with Aggravated Robbery with a $50,000 appearance bond. Davis was charged with Aggravated Robbery with a $25,000 appearance bond. Graves was charged with Facilitation of Aggravated Robbery with a $8,500 appearance bond.
