November 2011 Officer of the Month

Wednesday, 07 December 2011

Officer Mark Belliveau was awarded Officer of the Month for November 2011. On November 28, 2011 Officer Belliveau responded to a trespassing disturbance where the suspect had been known to issue verbal threats toward his neighbors, fire shots at their dog, and continue trespassing on the complainant’s address. After Officer Belliveau’s initial investigation, he forwarded important suspect information to KCSO’s Narcotics Division. This information led to a search warrant being executed that day.

Officer Belliveau investigated further and gained enough information to start a preliminary investigation that culminated in the location of 80 marijuana plants, lamps, fertilizer, seeds, several handguns, long guns, and ammunition that were strategically placed around the residence.

Because of Officer Belliveau’s diligence and willingness to go above and beyond what was required of him, he has been named KCSO’s November 2011 Officer of the Month. Officer Belliveau has been with Knox County Sheriff’s Office since May 1994.
