Two Injured in Domestic Incident

Thursday, 01 March 2012

Two people were taken to hospitals Thursday night after officers responded to a domestic call at 12808 Auklet Lane in West Knox County.  According to detectives, 53 year old Lori Keller and her ex-husband Martin both reside in the same house at Auklet Lane.  They said the two began arguing and it became physical.  Lori Keller armed herself with a kitchen knife and told officers that Martin fell on it during a scuffle and was stabbed in the chest.  She also sustained minor stab wounds. She called 911 from her car in the garage at 6:23 and he was found in a bedroom when officers responded.   She was transported to Parkwest and he to U.T., both with non-life threatening wounds.

Martin Keller was arrested at the residence on February 16th and charged with domestic assault.  He is due in court on March 16 for that incident.  Detectives say he will be charged with violation of conditional bond release because of Thursday’s incident.  The investigation continues and more charges are pending.
