The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a wreck that killed a motorcycle driver in West Knox County late Tuesday afternoon.  Officers responded to the collision at Lovell Road and Bob Gray Road shortly after 5:30.  Twenty-seven year old Brian Burns of Knoxville was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to the preliminary investigation, Burns was driving his 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Lovell Road and ran into the side of a truck that was going west on Lovell and turning onto Bob Gray.  The driver of the Dodge Ram truck, 66 year old Michael Brown of Harriman, was not injured in the crash. Burns was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Factors involved in the incident have not yet been determined.
