A 46 year old Powell man has been charged with vehicular homicide in the death of a woman who was a passenger in his truck when he crashed it early Tuesday morning on Kodak Road.   Harry Duggan has also been charged with failure to give information and render aid, violation of state registration law, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while privileged revoked.  He is in the Knox County Detention Facility with a $158,500 bond.  The passenger, 35 year old Melissa Cameron of White Pine, was partially ejected from the Ford Ranger and died at the scene. Neither she nor Duggan were wearing a seatbelt.

According to the crash report, the truck was east bound on Kodak Road when it ran off the road into the right lane and struck a tree.  Duggan left the scene when another car pulled up and offered help, but did not see Cameron and offered Duggan a ride.  Officers tracked down Duggan Tuesday morning at a house on Bivens Road.  He admitted to driving at the time of the crash and that he had been drinking alcohol. Duggan was wearing a neck brace because of surgery a few days before the crash.  He has a criminal history in Knox County of domestic assault and public intoxication.
