Rocky Top Market Robbed

The Knox County Sheriff's Office investigating the robbery of a North Knox County convenience store. A suspect armed with a knife went into the Rocky Tip Market on East Emory Road Wednesday morning around 3:45 and threw a bag on the floor demanding money. The clerk said the suspect was holding a six inch long knife. After getting the money, the man left the store on foot headed toward the interstate. No one was hurt during the incident.
He is described as a while male, 5'8, 140 pounds and small build. Anyone with information is asked to call the KCSO at 215-2243.
