Murder Suspect Held without Bond

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the murder of a man found in a North Knox County home Saturday morning.  Twenty-four year old Steven Pike (picture top left) of 157 Country Walk Road was charged with first degree murder and is being held without bond at the Knox County Detention Facility. 

Officers found the body of 27 year old Angel Gradillas  (picture bottom left) at Pike’s address Saturday around 8:15.  The Knox County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.  Pike told officers that he and the victim had been in an altercation the night before.

Gradillas address was listed as Ladbrook Lane in Knoxville.  He had a criminal history in Knox County and had been convicted of DUI twice, reckless driving, and theft.
