Man Arrested in South Carolina After Grand Jury Returns 2-Count Indictment

An investigation led by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Family Crisis Unit culminated in the arrest of a man from Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

59-year-old Alan Ross was arrested in South Carolina, waived extradition to Tennessee, and was transported to Knox County after a Knox County grand jury returned a 2-count indictment of aggravated sexual battery. He was booked into the KCSO Detention Facility around 7:00 p.m. Friday evening and is being held on a $150,000 bond. Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina assisted in the investigation.
