Names of Suspects Released in West Knox County Stabbing

The names of the suspects involved in Saturday afternoon’s stabbing have been released. The KCSO is searching for 43-year-old Charles Thomas Reninger. He may be accompanied by 38-year-old Tina Marie Sexton.

The stabbing occurred around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. According to the initial investigation, 29-year-old Jonathan Daniel Williamson of 11632 Black Road was stabbed in the road in front of his house by Reninger following an altercation. After stabbing Williamson, Reninger fled in a primer grey box style, single cab Chevy truck with loud mufflers. The vehicle is possibly an ‘80s model. Sexton was his passenger in the vehicle.

Williamson was transported to UT Hospital by Rural Metro for non-life-threatening injuries.

Reninger is described as a white male, 6’3”, 185 pounds with straight, brown hair and green/hazel eyes. Sexton is described as a white female, 5’2”, 110 pounds with bleached blonde hair and brown eyes.

An aggravated assault warrant with a $25,000 bond has been placed on file for Reninger’s arrest. There are currently no charges against Sexton. Anyone with information is asked to call the KCSO at (865) 215-2243.
