2013 Teen Academy Summer Camp

Tuesday, 23 April 2013

The Knox County Sheriff's Office will be offering three sessions of its Teen Academy Summer Camp this year. Participants may choose to attend the camp May 27-31, June 10-14, or June 24-28. Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday each week.

The Teen Academy Summer Camp is a five-day hands-on program for teens ages 13-17. The camp is a great opportunity for students considering a career in law enforcement or for anyone who simply desires to learn more about the role of law enforcement in our community! Campers will participate in many exciting activities such as scuba diving with the KCSO Dive Team, operating “Bubba” the bomb robot, performing mock traffic stops, and repelling with members of the SWAT Team.
