KCSO Investigating Case of Missing N.C. Woman

Friday, 31 May 2013

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of 39 year old Holly Fischer from Charlotte, North Carolina.  Detectives are following up on leads and ask that anyone with information please call the KCSO at 215-2243. Fischer was last seen at a business in Newport on May 27, the same day she left her parents’ house in Knoxville.

The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina has conducted an air and land search of an area near the Blue Ridge Parkway over the past two days.

According to the missing person report filed with the KCSO, Fischer’s father said his daughter left his house to go back to her home in Charlotte.  However, on the 29th, her roommate called him and said Fischer had not returned to their apartment.  Ted Fischer said that when his daughter left his house she was very emotional and upset because she is going through a divorce.  Fischer said he talked with his son-in-law and that he did not know her whereabouts.

Fischer was last seen wearing a white blouse, jean shorts, sandals, and sunglasses.  She is believed to be driving a silver 2004 Infinity FX35 with the VIN JNRAS08W64X203396.
