KCSO Investigating Armed Robbery at West Knox Store

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery Wednesday morning at the Sherwin Williams store at 11110 Kingston Pike just west of Lovell Road.  The suspect entered a side door and ordered the three employees and one customer to the back of the store.  He brandished a black handgun as he took the wallets from two employees and money from the cash register.  The suspect then herded the four people into a bathroom and left from the same side door.   An employee called 911 at 11:36 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black mask with hand-cut eye holes, a black hoodie, black gloves, black pants and a black shirt.  He described as 5’9” to 6’ and 160-180 pounds.  No description of his vehicle.
