Man Charged with Threatening Asst. District Attorney General

Monday, 18 April 2011

A detective with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for threatening to harm Assistant District Attorney General Steven Sword.   Twenty-nine year old Donald Clark of Maynardville was picked up Friday night and charged with retaliation for past action.  His bond was set at $5,000.

According to the warrant, the incident occurred on Monday, April 11, 2011 when Clark posted on Facebook the threat to “send them all to their grave” and “first stage already in effect.”  He further posted “I apologize in advance and God forgive me for what I have to do.  I apologize to anyone.  U started this Steve Sword.”

Sword had previously prosecuted Clark in a Knox County courtroom.
