November 2013 Civilian Employee of the Month

Friday, 20 December 2013

Congratulations to the Knox County Sheriff's Office November Civilian Employee of the Month, Dispatcher Emily Vidosh.

On November 12, Knox County Dispatch learned that a 16-year-old special needs student from Farragut high School was missing. Dispatcher Vidosh immediately dispatched patrol units to the school to meet with the child’s parents. She also notified surrounding counties and Walmart at Turkey Creek. After learning that the child had called her grandfather to pick her up from school, Dispatcher Vidosh also took it upon herself to obtain the address and phone number for the child’s grandfather and dispatched an Oak Ridge patrol unit to his home to ensure that the child was not there. Eventually, the girl was located by a KCSO K9 unit behind Farragut High School.

Dispatcher Vidosh has been with the KCSO since September 2010.
