Bread Box Robbed by Knife-Wielding Suspect

Thursday, 02 January 2014

Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery at the Bread Box at 1606 Lovell Road.  It happened Thursday morning around 3:30 when the suspect entered the store and went behind the sales counter.  The clerk said the suspect had a large fixed blade knife and demanded all of the cash from the cash register.  He fled with an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen walking north on Lovell Road.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5’8-5’11, and 180-200 pounds. He was unshaven and his facial hair was dark brown.  He was wearing a dark colored toboggan with a white stripe and a green, gray and blue plaid flannel type hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black athletic shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the KCSO at 215-2243.
