Sheriff Jimmy “J.J.” Jones promoted two long-time employees of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to the rank of captain.  Brad Hall, 47, and George Edlund, 60, had both been Lieutenants.  Hall has been with KCSO since 1990 and Edlund since 1979.

Sheriff Jones also promoted Detective Randall Crisp to the rank of Lieutenant.  Crisp, 46, has been with the Sheriff’s Office for 15 years.  Also promoted was 34 year old Grayson Fritts who went from K-9 Officer with Patrol to Detective.  He’s been with the KCSO since 1990.
